On May 8th, I will be making a short performance/appearance at New Leaders Council Chicago's 5th annual fundraiser. The event will be held at Studio Paris (59 W. Hubbard, Upper Level) and should be a great event attended by some of Chicago's most prominent young leaders. For more information on the event and to purchase tickets visit: facebook.com/NLCChicago.

Last night I attended a wonderful event thrown by my good friend and former Chicago Bear, Jerry Azumah. His ASAP Foundation serves underprivileged children in both Boston and Chicago. The comedy show was held at The Laugh Factory on Chicago's north side and I must admit....I was laughing all night. I know I was late to post this on the blog but I figured it was worth shedding light on such a noble cause. For more info visit www.theasapfoundation.org Add-2 represents everything that I love about Chicago hip hop and the power of the word. This brother has continually persevered and fought the good fight and I love him for that. Even at times when this industry has discouraged me, he has always been a beacon of light that has inspired me to rap. That said, I HAD to appear in this video for him. It was only right to pay it forward. Luther South may not be around anymore but it's alumni are shining bright. Welcome to his epic portrait called, "Death of Chicago." |
